ADA Compliance & Pre-Sale Renovation
THE PROJECT
This owner wanted to add a two-story addition and make the home ADA compliant with an interior elevator and exterior ramp system, as well as renovations to the existing basement bathroom and kitchen. In the end the Owner decided instead to sell the house, prior to which was performed some basic renovation works to update the property and make it more enticing to potential buyers.
OUR ROLE
We performed the preliminary architectural design for the two-story addition, as well as the property's real estate appraisal along with a detailed construction cost estimate and schedule for the construction works to inform the Owner's build or sell decision. On the construction side we helped the client sell the property with a few minor repairs.
